Testimonies
Anyone who receives a diagnosis of any kind goes through several stages—sadness, depression, and even confusion of faith at times. In some cases, patients begin to give up. My mom went through all of those emotions, and when I told her I was sending her to this event, she lit up and started breathing differently! She was able to get out of her hospital bed and be truly pampered for a day by professional artists—hair, makeup, photography, and so much more! Just a couple of weeks after this event, she was strong enough to leave the nursing home and finally come home! Thank you to Save the Girlz for making her feel special, helping her care about herself again, and inspiring her to keep fighting the great fight!”
